Landscape Materials in Porter, TX
Porter stretches far enough north and east that where you live changes the conversation. The Valley Ranch side sits about 13 miles out and behaves like any of our core areas, while Northcrest Ranch at nearly 20 miles is a longer run we quote on a case-by-case basis. Worth knowing before you call, because the first question the office asks is your ZIP.
The land here is sandier than what we load for Klein or Champions, with pockets of pine and lots that were carved out of woods rather than graded flat. Timberlane Acres and Northcrest Ranch run to acreage with gravel drives that need topping up and culvert ends that wash out after heavy rain. Auburn Trails and Riverwalk are newer subdivision construction, where the builder's grade and thin soil are the first thing a homeowner has to fix. Bed work here tends to be practical — define the edge, get soil under the plants, keep the drive passable.

Pick up or have it delivered
Pickup
Open to every Porter customer with no minimum order. Come to 26622 Aldine Westfield Rd, Bldg 1, Spring, TX 77373 and our loader meets you at the pile. Mon–Sat 7 AM – 5 PM, closed Sunday. Half-yard quantities are available on pickup.
Delivery
Part of Porter is inside our standard 15-mile delivery range — the Valley Ranch side is covered, and the rest we quote case by case.
To get a delivery price, call 346-848-3046. The office will ask for the ZIP code where the material is going, then how much you need. Distance from the yard to that ZIP sets the base of the quote, and the load size — cubic yards of bulk material, or pallets of sod — factors in on top of it. You get an initial delivery price on the call.
Delivery minimums are 2 cubic yards for bulk material and 2 pallets for sod. For specialty stone like moss rock or builder stone, minimums vary by product, so ask a sales rep. Pickup has no minimum and no delivery cost at all.
How far we are from you

Installation help
We do not just drop material and leave. Talk to us about grass installation and about installing materials like mulch, gravel, and topsoil — call 346-848-3046 and we will scope the job with you. Our installation guide walks through the same steps our crews use if you would rather handle it yourself.
What Porter customers order most
- Crushed Concrete
Gravel drives on the Timberlane Acres and Northcrest Ranch acreage need a compacting base that holds through wet weather.
- Fill Dirt
Lots cut out of the woods here settle and wash. Fill dirt brings low areas back before finish soil goes on top.
- Garden Mix
The sandier soil around Porter drains fast, and garden mix gives new beds in Auburn Trails and Riverwalk something to hold moisture with.
- Septic Gravel
A regular need on the acreage side of Porter, where systems and drainage fields are on the property.
Sod for Porter lawns
Porter lots carved out of pine keep a lot of lawn in partial shade, and Raleigh holds up under that filtered light better than a full-sun grass.
Learn about St. Augustine RaleighPorter questions
- Do you deliver all the way out to Northcrest Ranch?
- Northcrest Ranch is close to 19.8 miles out, past our standard 15-mile range, so bulk orders there are quoted case by case. Call 346-848-3046 with your ZIP and how much you need — the office gives you an initial delivery price on that call.
- How do I know if my Porter address is inside the standard range?
- Your ZIP code answers it. The Valley Ranch side at roughly 13 miles is inside the range; the northern edge is not. Give us the ZIP and we will tell you where you fall.
- Is it worth driving to the yard instead?
- For a small job, often yes. Pickup has no minimum, and a half-ton pickup carries about one cubic yard of mulch or half a yard of gravel. Half-yard quantities are available on pickup.
